A day in the city...

We finally had a nice spring day, so we loaded up the car and headed downtown. We spent most of the day in Chinatown, and little bit of time at Navy Pier. It was so much fun being in Chinatown. It felt a little bit like being back in China. Same smells, same foods, same shops. Well, sort of! Russ even got scolded for not having Addie covered with enough blankets! (meanwhile, we were all sweating!)
Here are a few pictures from our day...

Addie spent a little time playing outside before we left..

Chinatown... Navy Pier... And a little goofiness at the end of the day...

Addie loves her brother Rah Rah (Riley) ! Although he's not sure he likes being kissed in public! :)

Sounds like a wonderful day! How neat! I still have not been down to Chinatown and really need to get there. Okay, Brendan and Riley are both Tigers. We really need to get them together. They would have fun. Hope to see you all soon!

Looks like a blast! I love Chicago's Chinatown! We used to live in Chicago but now live near St. Louis. The last time we were up there, ladies kept stopping to ask if our daughter still spoke Chinese. We go up for the marathon every year to cheer on my brother. We always make sure to time it so we can cheer in Chinatown. Love seeing the dragon!

Aww so fun!! I LOVE Chicago Chinatown! Looks like a really fun day!! Also, please do not think that I have forgotten about you. I will work on Addison's video, I promise! Right now I am finishing up the school year (2 years in one as I am graduating this year) and cramming for the ACT tomorrow, but I have not forgotten about you and I promise I will get around to Addison's video, it just might be a little longer. :)
