I saw this video on my friend Shelley's web site. I am getting ready to go to China this summer for 12 days. The team I am on is going to work in an orphanage, helping to care for the babies, and children. I am humbled and excited for this opportunity to tangibly share God's love, by caring for the needs of the orphans and their nannies. Watching this video (put together by a ministry called Open Doors), just makes me all the more excited to go. I can't help but wonder what God has in store for China. I"m excited to watch. Then I start to wonder....will I be a part of the change? Will my children? Please pray with me for the country of China, and the strong leaders He might raise up in this country, the birth country of our precious Addie Grace! A piece of my heart is there, and always will be......

Today I took Addie to get her pictures taken with her American Girl doll, Ivy Ling. I think they turned out pretty cute. I won't get them back for a few more days. But here are a few I took at home before we left. I think they look sort of alike, what do you think?

It feels like every day is so busy in our house, and valentine's day was no exception. Alyssa had a band concert at school that night. But we managed to have some chocolate fondue when it was all over! After all, what is valentines day without chocolate?

We know you like to check out Addie's pictures, so we thought you might like to see how your relationship has progressed! By the way, did you know you call Addie on her kitchen cell phone every day? Yep, she picks it up every day and when we ask her who she is talking to, she always says "Aidan"! We're ok with that, just don't call after 8pm, ok?
